Crust-cat-al Accretion: Part II

Catrogeny!
It's Friday, and I've been working hard on my thesis all week, and I'm tired. I need to do more on my thesis tonight, but first I thought some more Geokittehs is in order.

In the picture above, my cat Samira is continuing her research into crustal accretion. Here, she again plays the role of an ophiolite (or maybe an island arc) that is being uplifted where two tectonic plates (brown pillow plate and white pillow plate) meet. Undoubtedly, Samira will continue her research wherever there is a comfortable pillow or human or other cat upon which to accrete. Samira takes her accretion research very seriously. Whenever I try to move some of the pillows (or blankets or myself) upon which she has accreted, she gives me a cold stare such at the one above.

  1. She's doing science. She should get her Phd since she seems more dedicated then you!!! (hey she works hard at this research...almost every hour of the day and night!)
